During 4th of July weekend, we took our first family trip to Connecticut. It involved two flights each way, lots of time in the car and sleeping in a strange place. Nikhil was a star throughout it all. No problems during the flight, and he actually napped more when we were away than he does at home (but also was probably tired by all our activities). The trip had two purposes. First, we visited Alvaro's uncle Jaime and his wife Sofia in Willimantic. Second, we spent Saturday afternoon at the wedding reception of my dear friend Bettina. It was a really enjoyable time, and we are happy to see that Nikhil appears to be a traveler at heart.
