Nikhil and I have been going to a weekly newborn "playgroup" since he was 8-weeks-old. The whole idea of newborns "playing" is rather funny. Nikhil is the youngest member. At first, the moms used to basically sit around, feeding the babies and chatting. Now that the babes are all four months or older, they are really starting to interact. Nikhil is just fascinated by other little people. In fact, we've had a breakthrough with tummy time since our last playgroup. After hanging out with the other babies on his tummy on Tuesday, he has decided being on his stomach ain't so bad and is frequently flipping onto it. So now he has all the pieces - any day now until he is rolling, rolling, rolling!
