Travelin' man

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we went to Brazil at the end of September so I could supervise the start of data collection for one of my dissertation projects. We stayed about two weeks and had a fabulous time wandering around Rio, going to the beach, eating delicious food and introducing Nikhil to city life. Yes, Nikhil's a world traveler, with his own passport and first visa and all!

We were slightly worried about the redeye flight. It's 9 hours, overnight, both ways. Nikhil has flown often, so we knew that actually being on the plane wouldn't bother him, in terms of his ears or anything, but sleep is precious, and we knew that we would all be sorry if he didn't sleep well. Worries were totally unfounded! The little one slept the first six hours of the flights without peeping, spent a little time awake, then back to sleep he went. It was a huge relief to us (and probably everyone else in our cabin!).

Here's a little video of Nikhil going crazy on our domestic flight! Now you know why he was happy feet for Halloween. =)
